Liebherr’s Monolith column trades the button or seven-segment panel of earlier built-in refrigerators for a flush, handle-less door and a touch-based control interface — a different look and a different way of interacting with the unit, even though the refrigeration hardware behind it does the same job. A BioFresh compartment is available as part of the configuration.
Because the touch control is new to this generation, a panel that won’t respond to touch is one of the more distinct complaints on a Monolith column, separate from a BioFresh drawer that isn’t holding its target range or the ventilation clearance a tight cabinetry cutout can restrict on any full-height column.
Key Features
- Full-height, panel-ready built-in column with Liebherr’s flush, handle-less Monolith door design
- Touch-based electronic control, a different interface than the button/seven-segment panels on prior column generations
- BioFresh compartment option for near-0°C, high-humidity fresh-food storage
Most Common Issues on This Model
Touch-control panel unresponsive or displaying an error code
BioFresh compartment not settling into its target range
Ventilation clearance behind the column restricted by a tight cabinetry cutout, straining the compressor
