What c0 / c1 Means
Liebherr's wine cabinets carry the same child-lock item as the rest of the range: c in the set-up mode, c1 for on and c0 for off. The wine manuals add a detail the others leave implicit — if the cabinet cannot be switched off at all, the child lock is the reason.
Common Causes of c0 / c1
- The lock was enabled to stop the cabinet being switched off accidentally
- A long press while cleaning the control strip opened set-up mode and changed it
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Enter set-up mode the way your model documents, usually by holding the light or fan button for about five seconds until c appears and the button flashes, then select c0 and confirm. The lit key symbol goes out when it takes.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A cabinet that ignores its own on/off button looks exactly like a failed control panel, and that is a call-out to be told about a setting.
- If the documented sequence does not release it, the panel is no longer reading input properly, and that is a genuine problem worth reporting as such.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
