A Liebherr refrigerator running warmer than its set temperature is rarely a mystery once you know where to look: a worn door seal letting warm air in, a compartment air sensor (F1) feeding the control board an inaccurate reading, or an evaporator sensor (F2) whose gradual ice buildup is quietly restricting airflow. Each produces a slightly different pattern — a seal issue often comes with visible condensation or a door that doesn’t feel like it’s pulling shut, while a sensor problem can leave the display looking normal even while the cabinet genuinely isn’t.
Because the display can be wrong right alongside the cabinet being warm, we always recommend checking with an independent thermometer rather than trusting the unit’s own reading when something feels off, and having a technician confirm which specific part is actually to blame before replacing anything.
