An ice maker that’s stopped producing ice while the rest of the refrigerator cools normally is a good sign, in one sense — it usually means the problem (F10) is isolated to the ice maker system rather than something affecting overall cooling. The water supply line is worth checking first: a kinked or shut-off line is a simple, genuinely DIY-fixable cause. If the line is fine, the ice maker’s own fill valve or motor is the more likely culprit, which needs a technician.
Also worth watching for: any pooling water or staining near the ice maker compartment (F11), which points to a leak rather than a simple production stoppage and is worth addressing sooner rather than later to avoid water damage to shelving or flooring.
