What F0-F5 Means
The multi-temperature WTEes Vinidor cabinets widen the problem display to a range, F0 through F5, listed together in the Controls and displays chapter and answered in the Malfunction chapter with a single line. Liebherr does not break the range down, and the whole span — F0, F1, F2, F3, F4 and F5 alike — carries the same instruction to contact customer service.
Common Causes of F0-F5
- A numbered internal problem the control recorded and is reporting
- A monitored temperature or regulation circuit reading outside its accepted window
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Photograph the display, because these panels alternate between a code and a temperature and the number is easy to misremember. Then leave the door shut — a glass-door cabinet loses its temperature faster than a solid one every time it is opened for a look.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A multi-temperature cabinet is doing more regulation work than a single-zone one, so a problem in that regulation can leave one part of the cabinet quietly wrong while the display still looks sensible.
- Behind the code lies either electronics or the sealed refrigeration circuit, and no part of the second is something an owner can safely open.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
