What P12 / P13 / P14 Means
P12, P13 and P14 are preset storage programs rather than codes. P12 is general frozen-food storage, P13 is long-term ice-cream storage, and P14 is ready-to-eat scooping ice cream. Selecting one adjusts the storage climate — temperature and humidity — for that use rather than simply changing a set point.
Common Causes of P12 / P13 / P14
- A program selected for a previous use and never changed back
- A program chosen during commissioning that no longer matches what the cabinet holds
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
If a cabinet is running colder or warmer than expected and nobody changed the temperature, check which program is selected. A freezer left on the scooping program will sit noticeably warmer than one on frozen-food storage, and it will look like a problem to anyone who does not know the program exists.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A scooping cabinet and a storage cabinet have different jobs, and running frozen stock on a scooping program is a food-safety decision made by accident.
- Because the program adjusts more than the set point, matching the behavior by hand from the temperature setting alone does not reproduce it.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
